Two of the groups we sponsor on Meetup.com are the Vancouver Business, Marketing and Entrepreneur meetup and the Vancouver Consultants meetup.
Do you know about Meetup.com? It’s a great social networking platform where local Vancouver entrepreneurs can join groups centered around key topics, such as sales and business…all the way to recreational topics like hiking, dating, and Star Trek!
The two groups Elevated Marketing sponsors (which happen to be groups that I started almost a year and a half ago) are different and unique from any other groups on Meetup.com.
The Vancouver Business, Marketing and Entrepreneur meetup is a general business networking group where we have special events or speakers come in to present to the group, and I really emphasize that people get to know each other and form good professional relationships with each other (I never liked the express business card exchange that happens at other groups).
The Vancouver Consultants meetup is moreso for coaches, consultants, and service providers to mastermind with each other about how to do better in their businesses and selling is not encouraged in this group.
We are pleased to announce that it looks like the Vancouver Business, Marketing and Entrepreneur meetup will surpass the 1000 members mark this summer. Thus, we are going to have a 1000th Member Summer Networking Mixer and Mini-Trade Show on July 13th to celebrate this.

The last two times we did this, the tables and pitching slots were sold out and we had a full room attendance.
