(Transcript) I’m Dr. Sean Richardson and I’m going to be talking to you, the coaches and consultants of Vancouver, on April 20th and today I’d like to share with you a little bit about what a thought leader is and what are some of the critical elements to building a million dollar practice as a thought leader.
So the first thing is: what is a thought leader? A thought leader is someone who has established their brand and established themselves as an authority thinker in their field. My Ph.D is in the psychology of excellence and I try to establish my authority to communicate great ideas about the psychology of excellence.
In essence, the question is, “what is the thing that you have ideas about?” And you don’t have to be a PH.D in this, there are plenty of people who are thought leaders out there who have phenomenal ideas that they’ve gotten through many experiences in life.
What we want to do with those ideas is capture them, package them into beautiful elegant simplicity and then deliver them through multiple modes so you can really diversify your revenue stream. With the thought leaders model, and what we’ll talk about on April 20, is how you can do that, whether you are a speaker, trainer, coach, facilitator, an author… How do you take your ideas, capture the best ones, package them up into elegant simplicity and then deliver them through an extraordinary business model.
