How powerful is video marketing for your business? Are you drawn to great video on the internet and wonder how you can do that for yourself? This is a course on video marketing not available anywhere else in the Vancouver area. As a former filmmaker and a student of (marketing) psychology, I’ll be giving you hands on instruction on how to shoot great video and how to use it to elevate yourself to expert status in your marketplace.

This course is specially designed for coaches, consultants, service providers, and niche products ~ any business that relies on relationship selling and for any level of experience in video making. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned shooter, everyone will find something of value in this course to immediately use yourself..

The first portion of the course is on the Technical Side of Video Marketing. This will be a hands on portion, everyone is going to get a chance to practice video composition and the footage will be put on a DVD that you will take with you at the end of class.

We’ll discover (very partial list):

• How to shoot great video.
• Compare/contrast the different video formats on the market (SD vs HD).
• Recommend cameras/gear/software that will give you top quality video for under $1000.
• How to edit your video to get the result you want.
• The slick cinematic movie look vs raw reality TV look. Which is better?

We will bring all the equipment (regular SD tape camera, HD video camera, tripods, TV sets/monitor, etc…) you don’t have to bring a thing.

The second portion of the course is on How to Do Video Marketing. You’ll learn how to market yourself on video, make money, create product, and make yourself the expert in the real world and on the internet.

• How to plan your video shoot to fit into a marketing strategy.
• How to create powerful content that makes your audience think.
• Garbage in vs Garbage out. Why you can’t shoot everything.
• How to use video/audio to make products to sell.
• How to position yourself as the expert through your videos

• How video can create a viral response.
• Using video on your website and blog.
• How video can help your publicity.
• The top video submission sites you need to know about (i.e. Youtube)

I’ll be layering in exclusive marketing psychology/best practices that you won’t find anywhere else on how to develop your content and position yourself at the top of your field.
