If you said ‘Yes’ to any of the above, it’s not surprising. The majority of coaches, consultants and experts struggle at their business as the frequently (over)work in isolation or (usually) don’t have a clear picture of what they should be doing as they are too close to the problem (themselves).
Wouldn’t you want to be able to grow your reach, expand your coaching empire, and increase your wealth?
What Are the Parts to Growing your Business Empire?
Different people may suggest a hodgepodge of different tactics and approaches to building a successful coaching empire. However, if you want to position yourself as the obvious choice in your expertise then you will have to be proficient in each of the following parts:
1) It all starts with you Creating Your Platform and Raising Your Profile based on your brand essence and secret sauce (what you know -your expertise).
The following can be done in any order.
2) Next you want to position yourself as an expert through being a visible (Keynote) Speaker.
3) You create a massive following and generate massive revenue through Live High Priced Coaching Programs (coaching, workshops and seminars).
4) You Write a (e)Book(s) to position you as the expert and share your expertise.
5) The most vital and powerful part of growing your expert business today is to Leverage the Power of the Internet for everything from marketing, promotion, passive income, and more.
Some examples of the things you may do to achieve the above may include (and is not limited to):
- Case studies of well known coaching figures (both on your own and with the group).
- Developing your Focused Marketing model.
- Developing your speaking skills and speaking business.
- Creating a continuity/membership site to share your expertise.
- Developing a blog/article writing strategy.
- Discerning who you ideal customer is.
- Discovering your secret sauce that sets you apart from everyone else (branding and positioning yourself in the blue ocean).
- Learning how to network and grow your community.
- Create high priced courses and seminars into a sustainable business.
- Start writing/planning your printed book.
- Creating a platform for the media.
- Learn the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs.
- Learn about selling and your sales funnel.
- Create information products (ebook, DVD’s, audio CDs).
- Create a video marketing strategy.
- Explore how to expand your reach beyond your city.
- Create your five and ten year plans.
This requires a lot of time, effort, money and energy and most coaches and experts don’t take the creation process seriously enough.
If you build this out properly, you will find that it will be a transformational process, where you’ll feel your insight and vision change from week to week as you gain your powerful ‘aha’ moments through thinking deep into what you already know.
Sometimes however, this is difficult to achieve in isolation, particularly when life gets in the way. That is why I suggest you find a coach to help you or join an elite mastermind.
