What are Howard’s Three Truths of Selling? To sum up:
1) 75% of the outcome of your client meeting is determined by how relevant you are and how much they like and trust you at the beginning of your relationship.
2) Every person on the planet makes 5 precisely ordered decisions, before they do anything with you.
i. Do they like and trust you? Are you here for your reasons or theirs?
ii. Are they excited about your company? Is your company reputable and will it look after them?
iii. Does your product or service help them?
iv. Price is not as important if the first three are satisfied so your client feels tremendous value is to be gained.
v. Is the timing right for your client to buy now? They buy on their time, not yours.
3) 62% of time, sales professions do not suggest the next step nor ask for a follow up commitment, while the client offers at least two objections or stall tactics.

I went to go see Howard speak. He is an excellent speaker, and as a matter of fact one the tips he gave me about relaxing through smiling was such a great tip that I actually ended up putting it in my e-book. He’s definitely one of the top 5 speakers I’ve ever seen in my life.
