Last night, the first of the 4-part WordPress Mastermind Series went off very well. Many thanks to George Plumley, Sasha Djolic, Rob Barnett and Rochelle for speaking about converting Static Sites to WordPress sites.
The next part of the series should really be named “How to Set Up, Create a Site and Start Using WordPress with the Thesis Theme – and How to Start Your Blog/Site with Good SEO†as that’s what I’ll be talking about (just wanted to clarify).
I’ll be going through the technical side of 1) how to actually start your own WordPress site, 2) how to set it up, and 3) how to use it for both your website and your blog. I’ll also be showing you how powerful the Thesis Theme for WordPress is and how it works in your favor to fully optimize your site for Google and other search engines.
And I’ll also talk briefly about how you can get good Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as it relates for your blog/website.
After this event, you’ll not only know how to create and maintain your own websites by yourself WITHOUT necessarily paying someone to do it for you (you might want to anyway, however), you’ll understand why Google is not seeing you and why your competitors are kicking your butt in the search rankings – within reason, the talk is only 45 mins long.
