How Long Will The Photo Shoot Take?

In most cases, a photo shoot will take about an hour to an hour and a half, but this varies depending on the size of your business.

Google + Local Page Set Up

This is where your Google Business Photos virtual tour will be hosted and you must (and should!) have one. If you do not have a Free Google + Local Page, go here to set up your page. After you have signed up, you will received postcard mailed to your place of business with a confirmation code to enter to activate your page within in 3 to 6 months. If you are in a hurry to get your Google+ Local page created (or optimized), contact us to have yours made in one week!

Who Owns The Google Business Photos We Take For You?

You, the business owner, will own the photos taken by Elevated Marketing for your Google 360 Street View Business Photos, as per Google’s policy for the program, once you have paid for the service and the shoot is completed. Google has provided an agreement that is signed, prior to the shoot, that assigns all rights to you and also licenses the use of the photos to Google who will publish the imagery.

How Does the Google 360 Street View Business Photos Program Help my Business?

When potential customers search for your business by name on Google, they will see the images displayed directly on the search results page. These panoramic images will also be published on Google+ Local (Places) pages, Google Maps and all your other Google properties to give customers a better sense of the layout, decor and beauty and ambiance of your business interior. Using easy-to-use html snippets or Maps APIs, you can also link to, or put these images on your own business website, attracting potential customers who visit your website too. Don’t know how? How Long Will The Photoshoot Take? Will it Disrupt My Business Operations?

We know you are running a business, and that’s why we designed photo shoots to be as non-disruptive as possible. Elevated Marketing will work around your schedule to ensure that photos are taken at a convenient time for you and your business. Photo shoots do not require any sort of special equipment, lighting, or setup, so you are free to stay open. Although photo shoots are non-disruptive and should not interfere with your normal business operations, it’s a good idea to let your customers know photography is in process and to avoid being in view of the camera, whenever possible.

What Do I Need To Do To Prepare My Business Ahead Of Time?

You are welcome to clean and tidy things up prior to the photography session, but remember that the aim of the photographs is to show customers what they would expect to see if they visited your business on a normal day.

Which Areas Of My Business Will Be Photographed?

Photo shoots will include the main customer-facing areas of your business. You can work with the photographer to determine what areas of your businesses you would like to highlight, or even exclude from the shoot. Once again, the goal of the photographs is to show customers what they would expect to see if they visited your business on a normal day.

Setting up your location for the shoot

It is very important that when we start a shoot, we can try to keep everything as consistent as possible with the least amount of moving elements as possible. Every change to the scene adds to the shoot time. So if you want candles, flowers, set table ware, or dressed mannequins, please do have your space ready to shoot at the set start time. We aim to arrive 15-30 minutes early to scope the scene and set out of panoramic shoot point constellation plan.

The Process

Due to Googles payment policy, we are required to have received payment before starting the uploading or editing process tasks. To ensure that we deliver to you in the most efficient manner please have a cheque ready for the correct amount (and taxes) prior to the shoot and ready for pickup  upon shoot completion.

What Will The Photographer Do That I Cannot Do Myself?

Vancouver and the local area Google Business Photos photographerElevated Marketing is a Google Trusted Photographer and is trained to take high quality photos of building interiors, accommodating for common challenges such as low lighting and tight spaces. We are also certified to take pictures using fisheye lenses and rotating camera turrets (mounted on tripods) that, once we uploade to Google’s processing pipelines, will be transformed into 360-degree HDR panoramic imagery and a walk through of your business. We have access to Google Business Photo’s backend that uses processing pipelines to conduct sophisticated image stitching, HDR, image matching and other technologies to produce these panoramic walkthroughs.

Can I Have A Repeat Photoshoot?

Yes, you are welcome to engage with a Trusted Photographer and coordinate a repeat shoot as often as you’d like at the  set rate. Many businesses who have recently renovated their interiors or that have seasonal decor will request a reshoot.
